Pros

Great PTO. Good health care. Good pay for the area.

Cons

The management in this company is the absolute worst. You have people being put into management positions that should Never be there. Terrible leaders. Gartner was an exceptional place to work back in the day but times have changed. Gartner says "Mission over metrics" but that is no longer the case. They have become so obsessed with metrics that it's actually driving away their top talent. I've worked here for a few years and have already seen so much change for the worse. The majority of people that work in Service feel stressed out and dread coming to work. No one really enjoys what they do anymore and that's because leaders has become so obsessed with metrics that they've lost sight of what made Gartner so great.. the people. I wouldn't advise working here. Gartner tries to trap people here by getting them to relocate to Fort Myers. Moving takes a lot of time, energy and effort. There isn't job competition in the market here so you are truly stuck unless you relocate again... do yourself a favor and don't work here. The smartest people here are figuring that out and leaving. Looking to relocate myself.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
