Pros

- Good people to work with - Support given by managers for new tasks - Exposure to C-level executives (clients) - Remote work

Cons

- Budget reduction due to ever reducing CV. Many clients aren't renewing their licenses - Constant fear of layoffs leading to anxiety among employees, people losing their jobs and some staff being put on PIPs - Drastic org structure changes - Senior management lacks ways of tackling AI threat and how to steer the company. They are still using the same playbook used in the early 2000s for a very different set of challenges. Executive leadership is the biggest reason Gartner is falling behind - Promotion rates vary for geographical regions. Generally very slow career progression

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
