Workplace is great but politics is worse - Senior Software Engineer Gap Employee Review

1)Payscale variation is high between people with same experience.Better negotiate for high pay or quit and find a new one. 2)Team leads are just middle level management and Gap guidelines are not strictly followed within teams.They need technical people rather than people who just talk. 3)The management doesn’t take employee concerns seriously.Politics at peak now at Gap. 4)Do not expect variable component to be paid at Gap.The management have conveyed this very openly now. 5)Company culture is deteriorating day by day due to middle level management and poor choice of actions. 6)No promotions or business trips anymore.
