Director level and above are difficult to connect with and have huge egos With many management changes, it's tough to make progress (rules keep changing) People have their fiefdoms and defend those instead of working together Although they only had a few people reporting to them, my manager/s rarely had time to meet with me and cancelled many of our meetings (in favor of far more important people...gee, make me feel special, why don't you?)
