Pros

The overall atmosphere and vibe of the company is great; very much a startup, modern-esque environment in terms of culture and office setup. Business casual/smart attire (jeans, sneakers are allowed). Free snacks, drinks, coffee (depending on office location), and hybrid work schedule. Catered breakfast and lunch during in-office days (2x a week), which is nice (also depends on office location). The people you work with are also very big pros to the job; everyone understands and resonates with the painpoints of the job, which helped me express my frustrations with the role. Most people on your team and the office are pretty much around the same age group. Unlimited PTO as well; my manager was very flex with us and approved all requests, but if too many people on your team take off the same day, it could be rejected. Quarterly bonuses where you can earn serious $$$ if you hit over 100% of your metrics and also paid overtime if you go over 40 hours/week, which is the norm.

Cons

I agree with a lot of the other reviews on here. In all honesty, the nature of the job itself isn't terrible, but it personally was not the right role for me. It takes a specific personality to thrive and enjoy this work (not me though lol). Very much a hustle-like culture and "lion" mentality needed; we're encouraged to bring in recruits on the same day we get the projects and send them over to the client. Job itself is pretty straightforward with similar workflows with each project, but VERY repetitive. Seriously. Just be prepared to be on LinkedIn 90% of the time. At the associate level, you're essentially in a recruiter role and have to hit certain metrics each month as well as each quarter. It's similar to a sales-related role (having to hit funnel, doing outreach, cold calling, etc.), but project deadlines do move very quickly, so speed is pretty important. Be prepared to do cold calls everyday; this was my least favorite part and gave me severe anxiety even with coaching.

Pros

Amazing people - lots of reviews say that because it's true. You'll work with smart, genuine, hard working humans. Good benefits and perks. Interesting events and opportunities to learn. Overall, a good place to start your career!

Cons

Very fast-paced environment which definitely isn't for everyone. Lots of necessary change.

Pros

Not applicable at all (truly)

Cons

Genuinely I don’t know where to start. I’ve submitted and deleted two reviews in the past 3 months alone. On the surface GLG seems like the place to be to learn from members and executives, but just give it a little bit of time and you’ll quickly see how obvious the cracks are. The culture here is so toxic, managers either do not know or don’t want to delegate project work so you’ll find yourself getting whiplash just trying to get information related to your job from your OWN BOSS. At the same time everyone you interact with is the epitome of “that’s not my job”. The executive leadership team is a mean girls club made up entirely of friends of friends who have their direct reports working well into the night to pull things together so that they look good. The “motivators” the executives use is truly bullying (like constantly pulling up your job description to purposefully make you look and feel small) any other organization would identify making your employees purposely feel stupid and shut down as straight bullying. It’s truly no surprise that you will regularly see employees crying in the hallways. I have never seen a leadership team this incompetent.
