Pros
Great healthcare plan you can take advantage of for the therapy you will need from working at GLG. Remote work is a plus but not really something unique these days. 401k match, great health benefits, free food 1x a week, etc. All these benefits can also be found at other companies who will actually pay a competitive salary :)
Cons
Where do I begin? GLG preys on young, impressionable new college grads and promises them a bright future at a successful, exciting company with fun projects and a great work environment. The truth is that the project work is boring, monotonous and you will end up burnt out and under-appreciated. Managers and upper management provide unrealistic targets, play favorites and listen to feedback, but no action is ever taken in response. Turnover is high here, with nearly everyone in my starting onboarding group leaving within the first 6 months for other jobs or quitting with no job lined up. Time after time, GLG upper management listened to anonymous questions and concerns about burnout and months later nothing was different. Employees are constantly burnout from unrealistic metrics, heavy workload and micromanagement. Also, company culture? There is no culture. If you are a young new grad considering starting your career at GLG, please reconsider.
