Pros
Good pay for the level of work, strict 9–5 so it’s easy to keep a balanced work-life separation.
Cons
Teams are poorly managed—they love to talk about constructive feedback and managing up, but ultimately, the leadership are people who stuck around long enough to get promoted, in spite of their competence. There’s a wide disconnect between the way the company talks about itself and the reality working there. Growth opportunities are non-existent on the majority of teams beyond your first promotion.
