Excellent leadership training; opportunities to move geographically and across businesses Constantly challenging status quo; high calibre of employees; strong brand Strong functional areas (finance, HR, risk etc.); HR process for annual reviews robust Strong focus on integrity and compliance Better opportunities for promotions on the industrial side
Cons
Very risk averse, too many internal processes and internal initiatives stiffling innovation Difficult environment for people in sales jobs, lots of pressure from senior management Too much focus on risk and finance...not enough focus on customers No real long term strategy within GE Capital...very much focused on short term goals
