Pros

It was 100% remote and very flexible. It was our own responsability to accomplish hours and tasks. Tasks were clear and team leaders always were giving support. There were chances to move from different areas of HR to develop new skills.

Cons

I did not have any issues with the payment part, but to recruit people for an unpaid internship was really hard.

I did a 7-month remote HR internship at GAO Tek Inc. helping with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. I gained hands-on HR experience and appreciated the flexible, supportive team. More initial training would’ve helped, but it was a great learning experience.

Cons

Most entry-level and internship roles at GAO Tek are unpaid, especially the 3-month probation/internship program.
