Company has paid training such as use of force and handcuffing. first aid and CPR. They have lots of sites to work at, you may get a site 20 minutes by TTC from your home.
Cons
Company will ban you from the contract such as TCHC because you were caught taking a lunch break 5 minutes too long. They follow this procedure until you have 5-6 contracts banned to your file and they eventually just fire you. This isn't a good company for growth you will not grow or move up within 5 years of being in the company this means your salary is completely dependent on your hours. Working as a G4S security officer your salary is completely based on hourly wage. All sites pay $14.00-16.00 hourly. G4S often loses contracts on a monthly basis. You may lose your site within a few months or so. G4S guards old and new are very arrogant and hard to deal with. It forces you to call scheduling to remove yourself off the site because their attitude.
