Pros

Some assignments had good pay rates and some of the highest in the security industry, some good managers, good sick pay scheme, always delivered uniform when asked and processed holidays to my satisfaction, felt as though I had a secure job through most of my employment, pay was always on time and accurate.

Cons

Some assignments paid minimum wage, some bad managers, some uniform was of poor quality and would wear out quickly, some managers ignored emails / phone messages / letters, received threats of disciplinary action if I was unable to travel unreasonable distances, was left alone on a store which was so bad it was supposed to have more than one officer and the management did not care that I was assaulted on that store, some managers disciplined officers too harshly and unfairly with people being left suspended for long periods of time without being told what is going to happen to them, lots of people were temporarily promoted and demoted, it was quite rare that anyone would get a permanent promotion - there is a "jobs for the boys" culture - your only chance of promotion is if you are mates with a senior manager and this shows, the company lose a lot of contracts although this is not always the company's fault but still makes it somewhat uncomfortable when assignments end or the contracts go to other companies.
