Pros
A lot of fun colleagues and very relaxed environment.
Cons
Making a long story short: -Hiring freeze by senior management has resulted in irreplaceable skills leaving the company -Frontstream is trying to integrate all products together, but the different teams are literally not allowed to talk to each other and if you have a problem they prefer you spend days bashing your head against a wall instead of taking like an hour of a developers time from another office -Poor compensation and benefits, training is next to non-existent and professional development has so many strings attached it might as well not be offered -The US offices have preferential treatment over the Canada and Australia offices, we have literally gotten emails that the US offices get to leave half a day early before their major holidays, but in Canada and Australia we get nothing. On that note the CEO has also visited the Toronto office and taken 80% of the office out to lunch and didn’t even say hi to the other 20% -Direction the company is heading seems to change every month -Senior management loves hiring their family and friends, even when they are really unqualified. Seen fun sales errors and worked with a developer that mentioned they didn’t do a project assigned to them because it seemed too complicated.
