Pros

There are a few pros: 1. It's a sales oriented company - so you will learn a lot about how sales happen at saas products 2. office infrasructure is pleasing to eye - but that is for maybe the first six months and you get bored afterwards 3. office is in perungudi - so you don't have to travel afar 4. in spinfocity the office is present in either lower floors - so you don't have to wait for the lift every single time 5. there are juice and snacks present (juice you have to pay) I do not have much to say about work in the pros column.

Cons

I think a lot of the five star reviews are posted by the HR themselves or those who are attracted by the office atmosphere and a few foosball tables. I guess apart from that, there is nothing that great about this company as exaggerated by some reviews here. Here is my breakdown from my perspective. 1. Engineers will never the importance as such given by the management for themselves and the sales/marketing department. Even the product management gets a great pat on their shoulders for doing mostly nothing and living off the engineers lives. 2. Once again about the product managers - they are small kids who are passed out from colleges and been in the company for a few years and these people know nothing. they are just trial and error guys who try this out and try that out and basically do nothing to add value to the company. please bring in more experienced people from outside and those who can bring about a change. 3. lots of politics - lots and lots. your life here depends on how you do politics and not on how you work. 4. company is losing the transparency that it used to have and now its like anyother company that is trying to get acquired. so much of zero values and zero ethics is here. everybody is trying to cash in on the stock options by boasting about themselves or making them look like champs. for the long term this is not going to work out for a fact. 5. bring in people with humility and people with real skills. not just because the person is a referral and good looking. 6. work is BORING. there is no new learning and there is no challenging things to do. you just have to follow and do the work as given from above which becomes repetitive after sometime. 7. appraisal - haha you will get close to nothing as a hike. if you are not in engineering, you will great hikes. but if you are in engineering your hikes and promotions amount to nothing. so you should look out for other companies for this factor. nothing here can add money or value or wealth or car to you as portrayed by the company. so do not believe those humbug marketing techniques to lure you in.

Pros

- Mostly good salary/benefits - Nice office - Some decent coworkers

Cons

If you have to do mass layoffs of hundreds of employees every 18 months, leaders need to look in the mirror to find the true problem with the business. Because it's not the competent people that actually get things done that are being laid off with no warning and limited severance. Don't expect any job security here. Also: - Still behind on certain benefits (extremely limited 401k match and bad expense policies not in line with US standards) - Work life balance is hard with large teams in both India and the US - Some employees who have been here 10+ years are completely unresponsive and largely incompetent but still get raises, promotions, and aren't ever scrutinized by leadership. The politics game runs deep here.
