Starting with FreeUp was a wonderful experience. I was well vetted but that just means less competition for jobs. They are active, have new postings all the time, and are generally wonderful to their freelancers.
Cons
It is a bit basic. I wouldn't expect to make hundreds of dollars an hour here as their focus has become primarily low-level freelance jobs with low pay. But it is a good way to get your feet under you.
