Pros

Four Seasons is a wonderful company with endless opportunities. Working at several properties within the company, I will say that your property's leadership team has a huge impact on your work experience. I've had bad experiences in previous roles, but I cannot say enough good things about Four Seasons Hotel Austin! Ever since I moved here, I feel like I've been treated so well by my team and by my leaders. My direct boss is absolutely incredible and going into work everyday is a true pleasure because I'm learning so much from who I think is the best of the best. Benefits are amazing from health insurance to employee travel. Not having to pay for meals or parking (on most days) is unheard of for a downtown property. I love leaving each day feeling inspired to do better and grow more.

Cons

Of course being in hotels, the hours can be long (but usually fair). The business volume can be very high at times. The clientele can be demanding and the expectations set by leadership are very high, although fair. While it can be stressful at times, you truly grow so much from it. I can't really say anything bad about working for Four Seaons Hotel Austin.

Pros

Very friendly staff. Straightforward job with good pay. Overall an enjoyable job.

Cons

Inconsistent hours. Burnout can occur if you're looking for something easy. Other than that its pretty much exactly what you'd expect. Good job to have.

Pros

Great immediate management (up to department head), good travel benefits (although not as good as previous years), health insurance excellent. Travel benefits are nice when you can use them. Become better at what do you, but with an emotional cost.

Cons

Toooo profit heavy and want to please owners versus staff, worklife balance needs improvement although it's getting there. Pulse Survey results need to be taken more seriously by PC and not put on department heads and asssitant managers, need accountability on PC to action. Terrible employee meals, especially if not AM Monday through Friday. Poor corporate ELT team since post covid times.
