    Negative Outlook

I worked at Four Seasons part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I got to meet some kind international people in the staff. Whistler is a very scenic location.

    Cons

Not all staff are treated the same and sometimes being disliked by one manager manager means they will make your life very difficult working for the hotel. You're allowed to get a free meal when you work five hours, but on more than one occasion, when you try and eat the chef will question you loudly in front of others if you have earned it. They handled the COVID situation very badly, confusing us on whether or not we were fired or quitting ourselves. They 'strongly recommended that we go back to our home countries'. It was really bad for staff who were working hard to try and get PR. They also did not give us the free Four Seasons nights we had earned. They teach us about the Golden Rule, but it seems this does not apply to their own staff.
