Pros

- Some of the kindest, most caring, smartest folks work at this company. Genuinely, the people make this job truly enjoyable, and the company culture is great. - The customers and prospects that you get to engage with are do-gooders, which make the adjacent work feel worthwhile. You don't feel like you are contributing to some mega-corp's bottom line. - The platform itself is really cool to work in. The possibilities are endless. It is great saying, "Yeah we can do that," to the prospects you work with. - Leadership CARES about the employees here. Company decisions are communicated well (whether good or bad) and mostly transparently. On days where it is bad news, you can tell it literally pains the C-Suite to deliver the tough stuff, but they do anyway. - Remote work can be tricky, since people can feel disconnected, or like the benefits of remote work are given at a cost. Not here. You need time to go to a doctor's appointment? Go. Kid is sick? You may not be near a computer all day. Want to take a week off using your unlimited PTO? Do it, you're encouraged to. - TONS of opportunity to advance if you take on initiatives and work hard. Leadership takes notice.

Cons

- Sometimes work/life balance can blur. With a workforce across time zones all over the world, sometimes it is hard not to feel like you always need to be available, even to those folks outside of your time zone. - The work is never done. You can't really kick your feet back at any point and rest on your laurels. There is always more to do. - Collaboration and communication across teams can sometimes be strained. - There are still a bit of growing pains at work here.

Pros

Fluxx is a great company work for, it si one of the few places i have worked where the spirit of the company is closer to a nonprofit or mission based organization.

Cons

As they have taken on investment they have had to formalize porcesses which means it is not as much like a start up anymore. It is fully remote nut they do try to get everyone to knwo each other

Pros

Competitive Salary and benefits Remote work Philanthropy focused

Cons

Code base is unmaintainable with many many different versions deployed to different client environments Engineers are asked to manage deployments and on calls, most of the work is putting out client-specific fires Leadership cut many engineers and staff last year without any performance review or opportunity to improve after going away on a "Leadership Retreat" Clear favorites within the company Management will yell at you in retrospectives if you call out any issues even if you present potential solutions
