Pros

I have truly enjoyed my time at Fluid. It is the best place I have worked thus far in my career. The work is fun, fast paced, and challenging. I have learned more in one year at this job than I ever have anywhere else. You are given big clients and a good deal of responsibility early on which speeds up your progress and makes you very valuable and knowledgable in the industry. Everyone I work with there is really cool and has a passion for what they do. The partners are total studs. They have been in the industry a long time and strive to do two things: Make Fluid a great place to work, and take care of our clients in the best way possible. I feel like they accomplish these two items really well. I have also enjoyed the flexibility within Fluid. There have been multiple times that I have an idea for the Agency that I am excited about and want to implement. They are always willing to let me go for it! They have built a great culture. The creative team and work Fluid produces is amazing. Overall, a great place!

Cons

Processes are important, but could use a little more flexibility.

Pros

I made some very good friends at Fluid and learned a lot. There are times where the management can be compassionate and helpful in your career.

Cons

When brought on as a new employee to Fluid you see a company focused on culture, work life balance, and a "passion for growth". This is what Fluid aspires to be, but it has a long way to go. This is a highly patriarchal environment that does not promote diversity. The staff may be diverse however it does not translate into the company culture. Unconscious bias relating to race and gender is the biggest problem I saw during my time at Fluid. When problems were brought to upper management they were ignored or "changes" would be made, that did not fix the problem or prevent it from happening again. The hardest working employees are not valued, and the gregarious problem causing employees are held with kid gloves. Overall, it is a toxic environment from a social standpoint. Employees are paid well under the industry standard, likely due to #1 poor business practices that affect revenue #2 salaries based on race and gender. This is not an EOE. PTO/Sick time/ Paternity leave is extremely lacking. Employees are under a scrutinizing eye when they come in and leave, leading to resentment and demotivation. Turnover is very high due to all of these reasons.
