Pros
Working at Flow Traders has been a great experience! It has a forward thinking culture with the type of environment that encourages everyone's opinions and rewards hard work. The New York office is small, which enables you to have a lot of ownership and responsibility. The office often feels like one big family full of focused people striving for excellence, but at the same time very down to earth. The benefits/perks are the some of the best in the industry and management puts a lot of time into accommodating to all employee's needs.
Cons
I can't think of any serious cons to working here. It is important to understand that Flow Traders is a small firm that at times can feel like a "startup". That said, some resources that you may be used to at a big firm do not exist here. Teams are smaller, so sometimes you need to be more dynamic.
