Pros

Perks (which are gone with COVID) Name recognition (amazing once you are looking for a new job) Fantastic opportunity to break into tech since they are always hiring (think about it... turnover) The opportunities after leaving Flexport are fantastic, and you will look back on your memories at Flexport with some PTSD ( I still have nightmares and flashbacks) but you will have slight fondness for it.

Cons

I am writing this one year after departing with Flexport, and have read through some more recent reviews on here... I encourage you to pick up on the patterns, ie, BRO-ey, poor middle/E-leadership, politics, and rote-work. I'd like to highlight that this advice isn't for everyone. If you thrive in working the system and making yourself look good, then this could be a great fit. If you're looking for a more just system of diversity of thought, appreciation for it, and feeling valued at all levels without respect to your title, then you might feel... terrible deep down. So I am writing this for someone who knows themselves well enough to admit they might be quite unhappy throughout their tenure here, and for them to realize that experience/personal growth wise, they might be better off somewhere else.

Pros

Lots of really smart and nice people at the company. The culture has improved a lot recently. There's a good amount of room to develop and jump on things that you might not be exposed to in other companies.

Cons

The company moves a little too fast at times and maybe overlooks things that are working well and don't necessarily need to be changed for "efficiency" at the risk of doing things incorrectly. It can be hard to move up in some departments. work/life balance varies a lot by team.
