Good Learning Opportunity, Poor Employee Benefits - ABA Therapist Fit In Child Development Centre Employee Review

Pros

Given a lot of opportunity to learn as a fresh graduate especially for psychology grads.

Cons

No medical benefit. Annual Leave very minimal. Ridiculous penalty amount if contract is breached. Workload is through the roof. Had to submit report overtime almost every day. On busy days, you might be working until 10pm. Overtime got no payment. If you wish to accept an offer, negotiate for higher pay. Don’t settle. Work weekends as well. Sometimes schedule is ridiculous and you might be working like 11 days straight.

Pros

- Supportive colleagues - Company trips - Team building activities - There's career growth - Occasionally food will be given as a reward

Cons

- Only 8 days AL - No medical benefits - Work on sundays and saturdays - No KPIs set, communication rarely happens on expectations for therapist or except for discussing child progress - Session will be overlapped and can be stressful as some supervisor will get angry when kids are having behaviours - Low bonus, mostly depends whether u take MC or not, if take MC lower bonus (they pay bonus quaterly, ranges from rm100-600)

Pros

It was a great place to gain valuable work experience, and everyone there was incredibly helpful, supportive, and welcoming.

Cons

Worked on weekends while carrying out the same daily responsibilities and maintaining a consistent work routine. The role does not include medical benefits, so any medical expenses would need to be covered personally.
