1. Managers would not take calls and speak to angry customers, so you literally have to stay on the line till the caller is finished abusing you! Ultimately, as only managers can resolve certain problems you just have to sit on the line until the person has had enough. I was verbally abused in this job significantly and repeatedly, by the time I left this job after two years I would be panicked and paranoid if a stranger even sat next to me on public transport - due to all the abuse I got from strangers over the phone in this job!! I even had to get counselling to deal with this issue! The amount of verbal abuse I took was ridiculous in this job. The job is better suited to people who don't care about callers and don't try to resolve problems, if you absolutely don't care and can just laugh off the abuse you might find the job hilarious due to all the irate callers. 2. Made to work 7 days in a row, due to the company not retaining enough staff. 3. There are no benefits to this job, not worth the abuse. Staking shelves or anything else is better - be careful of your mental health...everyone I started training with had left this place within 18 months.
