Pros

The Company pays well and the position was hybrid.

Cons

The Leadership is atrocious. They do not care about the employees, only profits. They discriminate against females, providing their male employees with more opportunities for success. They claim to be inclusive however it couldn’t be further from the truth. They do little to no due diligence on the homes they purchase. The homes are rented with various plumbing, electrical and construction issues. This forces the on-site teams to field calls from angry residents daily. They force you to work 50-60 hours per week and if you’re salaried you’re not compensated. I have been in the industry for 20+ years and never felt so used and abused. Stay far away!

FirstKey Homes Response

I am sorry to hear that this was your experience while an employee at FirstKey Homes. Our commitment to our award winning inclusive culture is at the front of everything we do. With strong diversity representation at every level within the organization, to our Employee Resource Groups, to our interviewing processes, "including you" is one of our four foundational pillars at FirstKey Homes. The homes we are able to provide to our family of residents are some of the highest quality in the industry and while not all of them are perfect our construction teams and service teams work tirelessly to ensure our product is worthy of any one of our residents.
