Pros

Very competitive pay and benefits at the lower levels compared to the industry. They do really like to hire from within and advance your career if you desire to do so. Lower level management is good (branch and regional level).

Cons

Many of the support departments for bankers, etc. are understaffed and disorganized. Getting help and answers for customers can be very time consuming and frustrating as you get transferred from one office to the next. Also, some of the "partner" departments are horrible at communication and response, making it really hard to even advise customers to take advantage of those services or prodocts that are associated with them.

Pros

Strong focus on customer relationships and professional development. Supportive team environment with opportunities to learn retail banking, financial products, and sales techniques. Good benefits and clear expectations for performance.

Cons

Sales goals can be demanding at times, and balancing customer service with production expectations can be challenging. Staffing levels occasionally created additional workload during busy periods.
