I've worked at Fieldfisher Belfast for 2 years. It's a really great firm with a strong corporate culture and great leadership team. The work environment is fast paced and can be intense but ultimately is very rewarding. The manager is great and does everything to help employees develop professionally. People are treated fairly and tasks allocated/ schedules set with people's capacity and development goals in mind. Good work is acknowledged. There is a high level of motivation and I have always felt valued and supported. The staff in Belfast are so friendly and helpful and the senior lawyers really take time to interact with the teams prioritising the development of junior colleagues and sharing experiences which helps you feel more empowered to deal with your own challenges. During these difficult times management in Belfast, and indeed the wider firm has put our wellbeing and safety front and centre.
