Pros
An excellent and engaged culture where people are dedicated to providing the best customer service in the financial services industry. The company is privately held and never complacent in spite of sustained success. Fidelity's senior management and leadership principles are solid.
Cons
Sometimes Fidelity's past success can be its biggest challenge. There can be some organizational silos and resistance to change and innovation. There's still a lot of legacy technology and many platforms where release cadence is too slow to be compatible with agile methodology. There are a lot of annual required trainings that are not relevant to my day-to-day job.
