Pros

Better than being jobless, but try to find better option if given the opportunity

Cons

Fathom Health has a toxic work environment that discourages employees that advocate for themselves. They have a “take it or leave it” attitude regarding compensation. The company has no regard for the amount of work employees put in and trust, you will be treated like employee #xxxx. Don’t waste your time interviewing (a process which includes more than 7 rounds of coding, system design, and even an additional presentation) with this company because they truly do not care about your efforts. Again, you are just a number in the eyes of the co founders, CEO, and CTO.

Pros

Working here for 6 months, and it is a fantastic company. The management is everything you can ask for within a company. They take your feedback and apply it almost instantly. The product makes selling 10x easier, and you can make some good money doing so!

Cons

I have no cons about Fathom

Pros

First, the mission at Fathom has the potential to change how American healthcare functions. Imagine being a part of that?! Everyone who works here is the smartest person I have ever met! Generally, egos get left at the door which makes working across teams very easy and you learn a lot! Benefits are good, the work is interesting and challenging. I have not found the work life balance as challenging as I had imagined a startup to be. I genuinely have fun most days! The leadership is inspiring and cares deeply about the team. The CQ team is incredibly collaborative and fun!

Cons

Hiring is challenging, because the bar is set so high for new team members - this is actually a great thing but can feel challenging! Sometimes the work is stressful, you are trying to solve complex problems, but it’s FUN! This would not be a good job for someone who likes repetitive and predictable coding work.
