Pros
Family environment - everyone that I worked with was extremely supportive. Knowing that there was a fantastic support system and friendly working environment made me eager to go to work each morning. Looking back this is one of the few places where the “we’re like a family” wasn’t just a corporate buzz word. Variety- being a smaller company with multiple facets you are expected to be a jack of all trades. I worked on articles, digital marketing, sales, events, graphic design etc. Management- never met friendlier management in my life but still kept business ticking.
Cons
Salary- as a smaller company they aren’t able to shell out the big bucks but I was simply a co-op student and was able to survive in Guelph pretty handily Advancement opportunities- few and far between
