Pros
Depending on the department, the people are very nice and want you to succeed. They value work-life balance and family. Extraco invests in its employees with great trainings (legitimately helpful and productive). Most of the management team are exceptional and sharp. Management communicates with employees well about the company's direction and their thoughts.
Cons
If you are looking to make a lot of money, Extraco may not be for you. Lifelong bankers get paid ok after decades of service but could make much more applying themselves elsewhere. There are some "old-timers" that slow progress - like almost every old small bank. If you are in the wrong department, you could be micromanaged, overworked, and underpaid.
