Pros

Ethyca is on the verge of something great when it comes to finding a solution to our right to privacy online. The company vision is one we all believe in and know that in time it's going to make a huge difference to our confidence and control of personal data privacy. We are facing a huge but exciting technology and design challenge and we're growing the team quickly to achieve this. It's a great time to be part of this journey. As an aside, the company has been excellent in how it has dealt with the sudden impact of COVID-19 recently and with that, has treated all employees extremely well during this time, in terms of our remote working needs and on a personal level making sure everyone remains closely connected to each other during this time.

Cons

It's a startup! Be ready for a wild ride :)

Pros

A good thing of working in a startup company is the freedom and flexibility to build new things. Everyday I design and write code that make a direct impact in the product. The engineering team is composed of very talented and experience engineers, so not only I'm making an impact, but I'm also learning from amazing people along the way. The company is growing fast and totally trust our managers to take the right decisions and move it to the right direction. People in the company are very kind and helpful. We have a great culture and is is really a joy to spend time with them.

Cons

Being a small team we all have to wear several different hats. It's pretty common to have to lear a new technology or write code outside my comfort zone. It's nothing unexpected and also an opportunity to learn something new.
