The vacation period you receive after six months

Everything else that is involved in working for Equity Residential.. They are the shadiest company I have ever worked for . You can be recognized as a top producer time and time again , go above and beyond the job description ...on a regular basis and what will you receive for your hard work and help in making Equity thousands of dollars on every apartment you lease or every resident that stays because of you and your teams loyalty to both the resident and the company (one that doesn't deserve it ) ? NONTHING .....well almost nothing , you will receive a 13 cent raise over a three year period ...that's right 13 cents ...true story, that was my experience. Maybe thins have changed , but there are many companies in the field of Property Management ...choose another , this one will scar you for life !

The communities are physically nice

Cons

The biggest problem is the current tour policy is sheer insanity. On-site staff are already burning out by headcount being reduced whenever possible, and on top of it, they have made tours unlimited (5 tours can be booked at once, and this can happen every 30 minutes, even for 1 person working). Leasing agents and on-site staff are going to leave, burn out, continue calling out causing further short staffing. PLEASE do something about this policy before our office staff disintegrates, it is truly awful.
