Pros

Your communication skill will be useful in our department. EQUINIX Data Centers located all over the world in proportion to rapidly increased demands for business connectivity. In this growing industry, Service desk is thinking and acting to maintain our customer's business stable. So we are trying to communicate closely and globally with customers, site engineers, CSMs, and other related departments to archive it. If you would like to work globally and like communication, I would like to strongly recommend to work at EQUINIX.

Cons

Since our Data center is working for 24/7, the agent who engages in managing Data Center works in shift. Hence in the beginning of working on EQUINIX, you may feel it is challenging to manage your health, since some of the agent have to work on night shift.

Company is strong financially. No chance of layoff. Many opportunities to work overtime if you want extra hours.

Cons

CRO and Senior leadership failed with execution of their CS REORGANIZATION! They laid off exceptional and tenured talent who were either not replaced or new job requisitions filled with external candidates. Upon making internal employees aware of layoffs, they did so in such a callous manner with complete disregard for humanity. It was literally appalling and disgusting! The ‘Magic of Equinix’ (I belong. I matter. I feel safe.) is no longer present and hasn’t been for over two years. No work life balance. Everyone is just a number so why be an over achiever in such an awful space. Morale is lower than ever!
