Pros

I'm delighted with my early days at Episource, a healthcare data leader specializing in Risk Adjustment. Here are the pros: Fast Recruiting Process: The technical recruiter was super professional and didn't delay the process. The overall process took 3 weeks and had 3 rounds of interviews with the hiring manager and team. (Mainly technical with some whiteboarding on SQL and Python). Competitive Compensation: The company provides a competitive package. Remote Flexibility: The complete remote work option helps me to manage my time efficiently, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Comprehensive Benefits: Health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and a (FTO) flexible time-off policy. In these early days, Episource has proven to be a supportive and forward-thinking workplace, and I look forward to continued success

Cons

I've found the experience to be remarkably positive with no cons observed

Pros

They were flexible with PTO requests, work/life balance and pay/benefits were decent.

Cons

Miscommunication and no latter for growth were my biggest issues with this company. I had been working for Episource for 9 years. At the beginning, tasks were straightforward and little miscommunication. As the company started to grow, I felt as if it was heading into a new direction. MRR department became known as the "warehouse" of the company. I believe there was plenty favoritism going around, and if you were not part of the 4th floor, then your issues weren't as important. I've dealt with different bosses- some good and some bad. The most frustrating part of my job was that there was no way to climb up the corporate latter; pretty hard to believe after working for Episource for as long as I have. If you are in the analytical part of the company or managerial, you will probably likely be okay. I've spoken to many satisfied employees but also many disgruntled employees. Unfortunately, this company did not further my growth after multiple tries of wanting to learn new tasks/apply to new positions open. Furthermore, I believe that Episource rather hire externally than internally. Overall, it was a good learning experience but very disappointing with the pretentious egos that ultimately made me want to end my time with this company
