      Pros

      A lot of independence given to developers, so if motivated enough, one can learn a lot on the job, but should be careful to ensure bad practices don't creep in

      Cons

      1. Politics in the upper management, which caused a lot of really good talent - managers and engineers - to leave 2. Absolutely no work-life balance. Asked to work a lot of weekends and did not have time to take the comp-offs. Most of these accumulated leaves expired 3. No senior engineer/lead to guide or mentor you. So code quality suffers and also affects personal learning. 4. Working on the same product for a long time. Mostly fixing bugs. No proper product plan 5. Unprofessional managers - no idea how to handle people or processes causing a lot of wasted effort

      1. Opportunities to Learn for a fresher. 2. This is for you if you are in a rage to work. 3. Great Technical team and very helpful managers. 4. Remote and flexible working hours.

      Cons

      1. Very stressful. No work-life balance. 2. Very tight deadlines. Management has started micro-managing employees recently. 3. Salary is not being credited on time from last one year. 4. No hike from the last 1.5 - 2 years. 5. Layoffs - you will be removed suddenly after decreasing your notice period from 2 months to 1 month. 6. Most of the managers are laid off in the name of cost-cutting. Most of the employees are moving out and existing people are getting too much work.
