Pros
- Friendly culture - A lot of managers genuinely care about about developing their employees - Relaxed work environment, flexibility in work/life balance - Great opportunities to get involved in a lot of extra-curricular activities from affinity groups to other social events
Cons
- Lots of red tape - Slow paced, especially for someone coming out of school. Things move very slowly and new ideas can take eons to come to fruition. - Politics and chain of command structure. If your manager doesn't support your idea then there will be no moving forward with it - Lack of recognition for employees and work that gets put in.
