Pros
The people I worked with were great and most of the benefits are good too.
Cons
This job is so mentally draining and you don’t actually realise until you leave how much it takes out of you on a daily basis. There is so much pressure to consistently hit KPIs and jump through hoop after hoop to get more and more out of each customer. You’re essentially only doing well if you’re ripping each customer off and being sly about the way you’re selling. There’s absolutely no room for progression unless you’re in with the management team or you become one of the favourites. There’s been multiple times I’ve been offered progression and training to do so and it’s always fallen on deaf ears. I spent best part of four years bending over backwards to help people out and felt like I got nothing in return. Leaving EE and starting my new job has really opened up my eyes to how little EE care about their staff, you literally are just a number and you are so easily replaceable….. save your mental health and don’t work here; atleast not in sales.
