Cons
If you're looking into a sales role, don't expect OTE to increase when quota increases. The company is VC backed and they continue to milk us dry, increasing workload and decreasing commissions. The new CRO is not focused on the success of sales reps. He's focused on making the company look better for the next acquisition so the executives can make their millions again. Quotas are at least 20% higher than the executive's targets. Most of the 80+ reps do not hit their quotas. The quotas simply are not realistic at all. The executive team hits their figures and the sales reps do not. Sales reps are not compensated properly for the amount of work they put in and knowledge they need to have in order to be successful. Do not expect any upward mobility either. The landscape is continuing to get worse and worse for a sales rep at ECi.
