If you are from Alberta, especially Calgary, and you want to stay there after graduation, Dynastream is a fairly good choice. They work on some very cool tech, have fairly good compensation packages and benefits, and the people are nice.

The internship salaries are lower than the industry standard. Cochrane is a very family oriented city, and personally, I didn't enjoy living there. Try living in Calgary if you don't mind the commute.

Fully integrated with Garmin, not only on business process, but culture-wise. Good for young engineers who want to learn and practice in a well structured way.

The company has become Garmin Cochrane. Hard to find any startup mindset and pace, if this is what you are looking for.
