Dropbox was a great company to work for - I think they put more focus on their employees rather than products. Since moving to remote working, a lot of the Perks have become obsolete. Free delicious Food, Coffee, drinks and the bar are now gone ! Dropbox changed in 2021 to giving an allowance to employees to subsidise expenses you have working for home. GU Health is probably the best healthcare insurance in AUSTRALIA - it’s 80% subsidised. Great Technology - If you like apple - your in heaven !
Cons
WFH causes more Zoom meetings to stay in touch. They have been strict about any face to face interaction with employees due to CoVID. Hopefully this changes as staff morale was driven by events and office vibe. Career Progression was very hard due to the limited positions outside of the US. Hopefully CoVID changes this ... A lot of senior executives have left DBX over the past 12 months
