      Pros

      For the Animation/VFX industry it offers relatively stable employment with nice benefits. The people are generally nice to work with and willing to share their knowledge to help you advance.

      Cons

      With stability and benefits come a reduction in compensation. Given the work, the cost of living for the area (SF Bay Area) and the other opportunities in the area the compensation seems low.
