Pros

Wall Street Journal is the pinnacle of journalism, and as a result, one of the most demanding places to work as a journalist. If you work hard and keep improving, you will go far as a journalist. The brand opens doors. You need to keep it open.

Cons

It takes a long while to get promoted and move up. You are also part of the brand, not your own brand.

Pros

Great culture within certain teams, not across the firm.

Cons

Poor leadership, strategy and decision making is not this firms strengths. Zero accountability across teams, this is obvious to anyone coming in the door if a mid-level to senior employee. Lots of positive toxicity.
