Pros

I love the people I work directly with..Were a great team. Our store manager is awesome and has the up most respect for all employees..Flexible hours..Room for advancement. Great work atmosphere..We are loved and a necessity in our community..

Cons

The corporate end of Dollar Tree sucks.. They removed our music, Started buying cheaper thinner shopping bags..So a lot of times we have to use two bags defeating the purpose of thinner bags..Took away our glass wrapping paper (we now have to bring our own newspaper to wrap customers glass in). Our vacuum is broken and they have known about it for a month.. I brought in two of my own personal vacuums to help keep our store presentable..We have carpet and I swept with a broom for two weeks..I've been there for a year and am so post to get a raise and haven't received it even after several reminders from my manager. They are just being cheap..And they are probably getting paid more by saving on things we need for our store..It makes me sad to know that the place I work , cares nothing for the people that keep it running for them...

Pros

I enjoyed working at Dollar Tree because it allowed me to lead a team, help develop associates, and make a difference in my store. I liked the fast-paced environment and the variety of challenges that came with running daily operations. The experience helped me grow as a manager, strengthen my problem-solving skills, and build great relationships with both my team and customers.

Cons

The biggest challenges were limited staffing, heavy workloads, and a lack of support from the district level when issues arose. PTO requests were often denied due to business needs, which made it difficult to achieve a good work-life balance. While these challenges could be frustrating at times.
