Pros

You get a little lead way on running your store as you see fit as the store manager.

Cons

Never enough hours to effectively carry out all the companies initiatives that they want you to carry out. They rely solely on the Store Manager to work way over 60 hours a week at any given time to make up for the fact they budgets for hours are always low.

Pros

I enjoyed working at Dollar Tree because it allowed me to lead a team, help develop associates, and make a difference in my store. I liked the fast-paced environment and the variety of challenges that came with running daily operations. The experience helped me grow as a manager, strengthen my problem-solving skills, and build great relationships with both my team and customers.

Cons

The biggest challenges were limited staffing, heavy workloads, and a lack of support from the district level when issues arose. PTO requests were often denied due to business needs, which made it difficult to achieve a good work-life balance. While these challenges could be frustrating at times.
