Pros

Health insurance. Paid on time weekly.

Cons

Pay. Matrix/ manager scheduling makes for very unstable hours. Have been given just under 40 hours when I was hired to be part time. Am unable to have life outside of work. Was told I had to spend night in store to get backed up stock room emptied, or lose my job. I was there from 5:30 that evening till 4:00 am next morning. Stock room stilll a mess. One employee refused to come in and was not fired... but others were expected to come in. Its seems as though its run without any concern for anyones time. Not very rewarding when you work your butt off and are'nt given kudos but if you slip-up you can expect to be chewed out.. I pray not everyone has had same experience.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
