Pros

- the salary was ok compared to other offers - the Budapest office was good

Cons

- Oh boy, I do not even know where to begin. - To be honest, it was not that bad at the beginning. The people tried to be nice, and I always worked from home. - However, then they started changing a lot of things, firing people (ENTIRE TEAMS) for no reason - The management of the research department is just awful, and they don't even know what they want. I do believe that people are allowed to make mistakes at the workplace, but when they do, certain guidance should be provided which would help them get better. But that's now what these guys think. - However, the start of my employment was not bad. I didn't have to go to the office - they wouldn't tell you what exactly it is you are missing, they will just let you keep guessing, and put you on PIP eventually LOL - MICROMANAGEMENT - Hiring a person based in Europe to work with Americans who are 6-9 hours behind does not seem like a great idea.. - I was fired within one day after being placed on PIP for 6 months. What exactly was the point of PIP no one ever told me. - When I was fired, no one even said goodbye to me, including the line manager. - The job description was wrong, the things I did were far beyond it (but I won't go into that now) - Overall, I'd advice people to avoid working as a Research Analyst at the Budapest Office.

Pros

Decent pay, unlimited PTO and good benefits

Cons

Leadership will tell you want you want to hear to keep you focused on being a BDR instead of helping you get promoted. Majority of AE type roles are not posted internally and do a ton of external hiring instead of promotions.
