Pros

- Wonderful colleagues - Blessed to work under some great managers and leaders - Recognition and opportunities to be promoted or change roles if performance justify - Good benefits and initiatives (e.g. insurance coverage, recharge week, meeting-free Wednesdays) - Decent employee benefits. It will be great if there are more parental initiative and benefits.

Cons

- With the rapid growth and acquisitions, comes with the constant evolution of processes, integration and lack of clarity at times. On a positive notes, there's no lack of challenges and everyone are ready to collaborate. - Certain region/locations can be better equipped and supported - Employees may not be invested as there's no shares allocation or purchase scheme. - As a global company, there'll be meetings that aren't timezone friendly.

It’s true, our colleagues are some of the best around and it’s wonderful that you’ve been able to work with great managers and leaders. We’re also very pleased that you’re seeing all the opportunities internally to be promoted or change roles. This has been a big focus for us as we want to retain and nurture the careers of our amazing colleagues because they are the ones who will help us achieve our ambitious vision. We're able to accelerate that vision through acquisitions, but we hear you on clarity issue and we’re actively working to improve operational excellence across regions. We’ve recently brought in some new team members whose focus is to help build better infrastructure in our internal systems and make it easy to do business. And while they won’t be able to fix the time zone issue, hopefully you’re able to take advantage of our flexible work schedule and adjust your day when you have meetings outside of regular hours. Pros

The product is market-leading, and the space is genuinely interesting. There's no shortage of smart, capable people at Diligent. A lot of talented managers exist within the org who could do more if given the room.

Cons

Direction changes constantly — sometimes it feels quarter over quarter. The result is widespread burnout and an inability to execute. Senior leaders rarely push back on the CEO, which means teams absorb every strategic shift without warning or context. HR leadership prioritizes serving the executive team over the broader employee population. The HR team is stretched thin and operates more like a compliance function than a culture or development partner. (Turnover within HR leadership has been notable.) Pay is below market. The equity program is opaque, poorly managed, and functions more as a retention mechanism than a genuine benefit (with no clear path to liquidity). There's a meaningful gap between what the company says it stands for—especially around employee experience—and what it actually delivers internally.
