Pros

- As described above, Galvanize has given me all of the above and more - these are the top areas for me personally and I wanted to touch on each one... - Mentorship - we have world class leaders here at Galvanize who are very smart and understand the world of GRC. They are willing and able to teach you how to master your job here - Opportunity - yes... there is a path to AE if you're looking for it. There have also been promotions to team leads, manager, marketing roles, solutions consulting and more... - Pay - above the market average with very lucrative compensation structure - full stop. - Culture - come to the office (or work from home as well!) and you will see what I mean... collaboration, helping each other improve consistently and a safe environment to speak up is what we offer - You get to sell a product that changes the world. Fraud, waste and abuse is rising constantly and in the SDR role at Galvanize you get to engage the market on how we deal with risk and compliance effectively and change the lives of those in charge of GRC at these organizations!

Cons

- None that I can personally name for myself. I enjoy what we do, how we do it and I am looking forward to the continued growth of this org

Pros

The product is market-leading, and the space is genuinely interesting. There's no shortage of smart, capable people at Diligent. A lot of talented managers exist within the org who could do more if given the room.

Cons

Direction changes constantly — sometimes it feels quarter over quarter. The result is widespread burnout and an inability to execute. Senior leaders rarely push back on the CEO, which means teams absorb every strategic shift without warning or context. HR leadership prioritizes serving the executive team over the broader employee population. The HR team is stretched thin and operates more like a compliance function than a culture or development partner. (Turnover within HR leadership has been notable.) Pay is below market. The equity program is opaque, poorly managed, and functions more as a retention mechanism than a genuine benefit (with no clear path to liquidity). There's a meaningful gap between what the company says it stands for—especially around employee experience—and what it actually delivers internally.
