Fast growth means some important steps get shortcut/missed. Internal communications can be especially hard across multiple time zones with a global team. Many projects are treated as "fire drills" that don't need to be - even some that we know about for a while seem to not really get attention until the absolute last minute. That said, we've all gotten really good at handling crises as a result, and with the COVID-19 pandemic, the company is being responsive in the moment and showing strong leadership through the crisis. So, maybe all the fire drills weren't always a bad thing...
