Pros
I titled this review "The People Company" because it sums up DigiCert – the company cares about its people. Period. The best part about working for DigiCert is the flexibility and work-life balance provided. There's plenty of room for growth, and the company encourages its people to learn new skills. DigiCert even puts its money where its mouth is by giving a stipend for education, certifications, etc. Management is great at listening to everyone's wants and needs. I started a few months ago. I mentioned it would be awesome if DigiCert offered a UTA pass to interested employees. A couple of months later, and DigiCert now pays for my commute on the Frontrunner. Working for a company that listens and wants the best for its people is amazing. Oh, and did I mention the benefits are great?
Cons
Honestly, not many cons. I've been trying to think of something substantive for about five minutes now. Nothing comes to mind. One thing might be that I'd like a better projection of how DigiCert sees me growing within the company, but that's probably more of a departmental, rather than a company-wide issue. I'd also say that it would be good to see the company take more (calculated) risks and get outside the box a bit (although the upside is that I know I work for an insanely profitable company). Keep in mind that I've only been at DigiCert for a few months, so these could certainly change in the future.
