Pros

Great office, small tight-knit team, fascinating clients, and visionary leaders. Come prepared to work and engage and you'll have a great experience. The team at Dialog is also very focused on personal development and wants to expose you to as much as possible, I've stayed in touch with leadership frequently since "graduating" from the firm on personal and business related matters.

Cons

Fast paced; the bespoke nature of the jobs means things can change quickly and sometimes situations require 110% effort to resolve, but the perks of working at a small firm completely out weigh this con; and leadership is always willing to listen and re-scope work if things are getting too much, but you do have to own your own workload and be willing to speak up about it.

Pros

If you are a self-starter with a yen for excellence in your work, Dialog is a good match for you. Be prepared to be both challenged and challenging in an environment that not only encourages but requires independent strategic thinking. While you will find your share of traditional marketing consulting and client services, you will also find that management is interested in fostering entrepreneurial side projects that allow much more flexibility in defining your own job responsibilities. If you are interested in exploring new avenues in your work life, there are usually enough side or internal projects to flex your chops. You will also find that management has a continued commitment to employee development, both professional and personal so you can expect a high bar when it comes to learning and growth.

Cons

If you are accustomed to staying strictly within the confines of your job description and having your weeks adhere to a repeated schedule you may find this environment is not a good match. Most team members are highly intelligent and many are outspoken, so you must be willing to be vocal about your suggestions or viewpoints.
